nano quartz powder, also known as spherical or ultrafine silica, is a microcrystalline form of silica. It is characterized by high purity and low content of kaolin, mica, and plant debris. It has excellent whiteness, brightness and acid & alkali resistant properties. It is suitable for glass making, abrasives and watches applications.

The refractory properties of quartz powder can be improved through the use of appropriate processing steps and equipment. It can be used as an important raw material for the production of high-density silica bricks and regulated refractory mud. It has excellent thermal strength, and can significantly prolong the service life of refractory bricks and reduce the masonry cost.

Various grades of powdered quartz are available to meet the different requirements for specific uses and applications. The most common and widely used grade is a white, fine particle powder with high concentration of spherical or ultrafine quartz.

The mineral quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on Earth, containing silicon dioxide, or SiO2. It forms in igneous and metamorphic rock, often in large crystals and grains that are in a wide range of sizes and lustres.

It is a highly prized mineral in many industries, as well as in jewelry and glassmaking. The crystalline variety is a common, widely used stone, but it can also be cut into beads and cameos and made into decorative rings, bracelets, and necklaces.

The powdered quartz is a good choice as a fluxing agent in feldspathic and cristobalite glass, and can help’squeeze’ glazes into their final shapes. Coarse powdered grades are useful for texture, while intermediate-sized particles help to’squeeze’ bodies into shape.
